Jake and Joe

Meet Jake! The tiny celebrity.   Hi, I'm Jake. It's a good thing I'm handsome and friendly, because I seem to be getting a little bit famous! It all started when the Karlson & McKenzie Show on Boston's Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX decided they wanted to help Operation Delta Dog by sponsoring a veteran-dog team. I had just started my training with a veteran named Joe, and when Karlson & McKenzie saw my picture, they decided that Joe and I were the team they wanted to sponsor! And just like that, I went from homeless dog to service-dog-in-training to local celebrity! Here's a shot of Joe and me in the WZLX studio with those other celebrities, Pete McKenzie, Kevin Karlson,...

Bryan and Lindy

I don't know why I ended up in a shelter.  Was I too small? When I was introduced to a veteran named Bryan things began to change for me. Bryan was deployed for more than 40 months and saw some really bad things. He wanted a service dog to help him feel better. A while back I was actually stuck in a shelter, trapped inside a cage and just hoping someone would come along and give me a home. I was so happy and relieved when my angels arrived in the nick of time: They were volunteers from a...

Cool Down With Some Cool Variations This Summer

Now that summer is here, and tired pups start panting in the heat, try some variants with your CocoChew to help them cool down!   Coat or soak your CocoChew in coconut oil (or another tasty and nutrient rich liquid!) Freeze overnight for extra hot days Chew away!   CocoChew is naturally water resistant, so you don't need to worry about it breaking up, but if you have a champion chewer make sure to keep an eye on their toys! If their chompers start getting through it, take it away. As always, remember to keep filling your doggo's water bowl and never leave them in a hot car alone. Happy Summer!
